ROME OF THE TRANSPORT!

MY PILGRIMAGES ARE NOT WALKING PILGRIMAGES.  I USE RELIABLE COURTEOUS PRIVATE TRANSPORT.  OR ROME CITY CABS WHERE NECESSARY.  I DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON WALKING AND WAITING FOR CITY BUSES, MOST OF WHICH ARE LATE AND TOO CROWDED ANYWAY.

MY PILGRIMAGES ARE INTENSE, COMPREHENSIVE AND THOROUGH, AND REQUIRE THE BEST USE OF TIME TO GIVE YOU THE BEST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. 

PRIVATE TRANSPORT IS BEST BECAUSE IT’S NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO GET A TAXI IN ROME EVEN USING THE APPS.  WE COVER A LOT OF GROUND, EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO CLUSTER OUR ACTIVITIES SO AS NOT TO REPEAT AND DOUBLE BACK OVER ROUTES.

All these drivers can be texted on WhatsApp, so it’s a good idea to add them now to your Contacts list and then go to WhatsApp and they will add quickly and easily.  Often it’s better to text first because they can’t always take a phone call at the exact time you call.



TAXI CABS IN ROME — slim chance you will be able to hail a taxi cab on the streets of Rome.  If you are on the street, you need to use the APP, the best APP is itTaxi, you should download it now.  There are other APPS, but itTaxi is the easiest to use.  You can pay the driver in the taxi with cash, credit or debit card, or Apple Pay,  or you can pay on the APP, so many options.  


  The other taxi APPS make you enter your payment information and charge your account twice as soon as you enter your destination.  More limited payment options.
